While i was used to use software synths, i’ve just bought my first real synth.
A tiny but powerful synth : the Roland JD-Xi. The workflow on this amp is simple and magic. It allows to play different parts easily with its sequencer and makes it a great tool to compose and cover in one turn.
It’s been a joy to play this cover of Nightcall by Kavinsky, OST of the « DRIVE » movie. All sound parts come from it : the main voice part also does. Except the female voice which is also mine, but through a TC-Helicon voicelive effect.
